Across many communities, limited access to quality education, healthcare, developmental support,
social protection, and basic necessities continues to hinder the well-being and progress of
vulnerable individuals and families. Children with special learning needs often struggle to access
appropriate educational and therapeutic services, while economically disadvantaged families, senior
citizens, and marginalized groups frequently face barriers to healthcare, legal awareness, and
essential support systems.
Recognizing these challenges, Shrimati Saraswati Manuja Education and Well Living Society (SSMEWL
Society) was established on 23 October 2007 with a vision to create a more inclusive, equitable, and
compassionate society. Since its inception, the organization has worked to address these social gaps
through initiatives focused on education, child development, healthcare support, community welfare,
environmental conservation, and assistance for underserved populations. Through its people-centered
approach and sustained community engagement, SSMEWL Society strives to empower individuals, improve
quality of life, and contribute to long-term social development.
Since its establishment in 2007, SSMEWL Society has been guided by a simple yet powerful belief that meaningful change begins when communities come together to support those in need. What started as an effort to promote education and social welfare has evolved into a diverse range of initiatives that touch the lives of children, families, senior citizens, and underserved communities.
Over the years, the Society has undertaken numerous programs aimed at enhancing well-being, fostering inclusion, and bringing joy and dignity to vulnerable individuals. These initiatives include educational and therapeutic support through Kriti Education & Therapy Centre, health and welfare assistance, environmental awareness and plantation drives, community outreach activities, Ann Daan and Bhandara programs, distribution of essential supplies, festive celebrations, and recreational outings and picnics for underprivileged children. Such activities not only address immediate needs but also create opportunities for social connection, learning, and personal development.
Through sustained community engagement, volunteer participation, and collaborative partnerships, SSMEWL Society continues to expand its reach and impact. Each initiative reflects the organization's enduring commitment to compassion, service, and the belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, hope, and a sense of belonging.
